At Radius Technologies, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:

  • Email address – used for authentication and account management.
  • Username – used to personalise your experience within the app.
  • Phone number (optional) – provided during registration for account recovery purposes.
  • Precise location (optional) – GPS coordinates you assign to a gateway device when adding or editing it on the in-app map. This data is stored on our servers solely to display the device location inside the app and is never used for advertising or tracking.
  • Sensor data – telemetry readings (e.g. temperature, humidity) from IoT devices you own or are subscribed to, used to provide personalised alerts and monitoring.
  • Device identifier (push token) – a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token generated by your device, used only to deliver real-time push notifications to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your login and securely manage your account.
  • To personalise your experience and send device-related alerts.
  • To display device locations on the in-app map.
  • To deliver push notifications you have explicitly enabled (e.g. sensor threshold alerts).
  • To operate and improve our services and ensure proper functionality.

3. Advertising

The app does not currently display advertisements. We plan to introduce optional Google AdMob ads in a future version to support our free tier. When ads become active, this policy will be updated and users will be notified in advance.

4. Push Notifications

We send real-time, personalised notifications based on your connected devices — for example, alerts triggered by sensor thresholds such as humidity or temperature. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.

  • Firebase Authentication (Google) – for secure email/password sign-in.
  • Google Sign-In – optional login method; your Google profile name and email are shared with us solely to create your account.
  • Sign in with Apple – optional login method; Apple may anonymise your email before sharing it.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) – used to deliver push notifications to your device. FCM tokens are not shared with third parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely and protected by modern encryption standards (TLS) and cloud infrastructure best practices. We regularly monitor and update our systems for security and compliance.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm once complete.

You may also withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via your device settings.

8. Audience

Our services are intended for individuals who purchase and use Radius Technologies IoT devices. The app is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available in-app and on our website.
